Why vanilla?
Maintaining Vanilla Gameplay: Some server owners prefer to maintain the original vanilla gameplay experience of Minecraft. They want to preserve the core mechanics and features of the game without introducing additional content or modifications. This ensures that players can enjoy the game as it was designed by the developers.
Compatibility and Stability: Mods often introduce additional code and functionality to the game. This can lead to compatibility issues between different mods or with future Minecraft updates. Server owners might choose to avoid mods to ensure the stability and compatibility of the server, reducing the risk of crashes, bugs, or conflicts.
Ease of Use and Accessibility: Installing and managing mods can be more complex than running a vanilla Minecraft server. It requires additional setup, configuration, and potentially troubleshooting. Some server owners opt for a simplified experience, making it easier for players to join and enjoy the server without the need for mods.
Preventing Unfair Advantages: Certain mods can provide players with significant advantages, such as enhanced abilities, access to rare items, or unfair gameplay mechanics. To ensure a fair and balanced playing field, server owners may choose not to install mods that could potentially give some players an unfair advantage over others.
Focus on Community and Social Interaction: Some server communities prioritize building strong social interactions and collaboration among players. By keeping the gameplay focused on vanilla Minecraft, players can engage with each other on equal footing and work together to achieve shared goals without the influence of mods.
